CAPBLEU 2025 | BLUESHIFT 2025

Pont-Bridge Canada and the Economic Council of New Brunswick (ECNB) have announced a strategic partnership to organize the CAPBLEU2025 | BLUESHIFT2025 forum, which will take place from November 11 to 13 in Moncton and aims to stimulate innovation and sustainable economic development between Canada and Africa. This partnership will leverage the ECNB's 600 members to ensure strong participation from the New Brunswick business community and create connections between New Brunswick and African business communities in the blue economy sector.

The Université de Moncton officially joins Pont-Bridge Canada as a scientific partner for the Canada-Africa Forum | CAPBLEU 2025, providing $10,000 in financial support and expertise in research and innovation to enrich discussions. This partnership reinforces New Brunswick's role as a key player in Canada-Africa economic and logistical diversification, in anticipation of the event to be held in Moncton from November 11 to 13, 2025.

Pont-Bridge Canada and the AIDF are joining forces to strengthen trade between Canada and Africa as part of the CAPBLEU 2025 Forum. This strategic partnership will better integrate customs issues into the blue economy and promote sustainable port exchanges.

Ottawa, July 18, 2025 – As part of the CAPBLEU 2025 Forum, Pont-Bridge Canada and AGPAOC (Port Management Association of West and Central Africa) have signed a historic memorandum of understanding.

The Canada-Africa Forum on the Port Industry and Blue Economy (CAPBLEU 2025) was officially launched by Pont-Bridge Canada in partnership with UNI Coopération financière.

African ports must modernize to meet the demands of international trade. CAPBLEU 2025 lays the foundation for ambitious Canada-Africa cooperation to address this logistical and economic challenge.

CAPBLEU 2025 will mark the inaugural Canada-Africa Forum, an international summit on ports and the blue economy, from November 11-13, 2025, in Moncton. The objective is to lay the groundwork for a strategic maritime corridor between Canada and Africa.
